We were so honored to host Dr. Daisy Torres for a special reading of her book, 'I'll See You on the Bridge.' It was a beautiful afternoon spent reflecting on the love we share with our furry friends and the memories that stay with us forever. Fourth Graders at Clinton Avenue School had an exciting opportunity to attend the Atomic Conference at the Omni Hotel in New Haven, with their teacher, Miss Roberts.
Miss Roberts was invited to showcase her teaching by demonstrating a model lesson using iReady Classroom. We are so proud of her and our students for being amazing mathematicians representing our school so well! 📚✖️➗🟰💙

We’re so proud of our amazing Clinton Avenue School students who competed in the district Math Fluency Bee today! One of our 5th grade students earned 2nd place in the entire New Haven Public Schools district! Congratulations to Diego Macao! That means he is officially one of the top math students in the whole district. What an incredible accomplishment! We are so proud of his hard work, focus, and math skills. So proud of him for representing CAS so well! 🏆

Ms. Gaspar and Ms.Luna’s 4th grade had the best homeroom attendance in January! 🌟

Congratulations to Clinton Avenue’s iReady Snowball Fight Challenge winners! Ms. Carrasquillo’s 2nd grade class earned first place for grades k-4 and completed 802 lessons at 80% or better! And Mr. Crisafi’s grade 5 class earned first place for grades 5-8 and completed 242 lessons at 80% or better! Both classes celebrated with cupcakes and donuts! We are ready for our next challenge - Math Madness!! 🏆🥇 #nhpsmath


Friday was all about Social Emotional Learning (SEL)! 💫
Our students spent time practicing important skills like cooperation, self-awareness, and kindness. These moments help build a strong, supportive school community. Check out some of the great moments from our SEL Day!










Our Junior Honor Society students put their compassion into action! 🐾💙 This week, members delivered the donations collected during our Pet Drive to the New Haven Animal Shelter. Thanks to the generosity of our school community, the shelter received food, toys, and supplies to help care for animals in need.
We are so proud of these students for showing leadership, service, and kindness beyond the classroom. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make a difference for our furry friends! 🐶🐱🐾

🏀 We’re wrapping up our basketball unit in the gym this week! Students have been working hard on their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. It’s been great seeing their progress and enthusiasm on the court!
