Ms. Valade’s students got into the fall spirit! They carved pumpkins, researched recipes, and cooked up some delicious pumpkin seeds — experimenting with different spices to find their favorite flavor! 🍂✨

Our 7th and 8th graders wrapped up their SEL focus on Creativity with a fun Chew and View! 🎨 Students proudly displayed their artwork in a beautiful showcase and voted for their favorite pieces. Congratulations to all of our talented artists — winners will be announced soon!

Tuesday, November 4 - No School

Wait… who’s teaching who today?! 👕📚 A fun day of switching roles—teachers dressed as students and students as teachers!

Save the Dates for November 📆

Our grade 2 math scholars in Ms. Carrasquillo’s class know how to run their session! Half the class is working on the session with their teacher while the other half is working on iReady on their computers. Students track their lesson progress on a clip chart, celebrating each 100%! Then they switch! Nice work cougars! 😃#nhpsmath #clintonavenue

Hugs all around when Ms. Macauley brings the Cougar Cart to Miss Roberts 3rd grade homeroom!

Get ready for the great swap! Teachers, dress like students, and students, dress like teachers. Let's see your best role-reversal looks!

📚 Ms. Chasanoff’s grades 3 and 4 students are diving into HMH Focus Walls! Her “Braille” and “Visualizing” bulletin boards bring the HMH modules to life and help students make meaningful connections as they read and learn!

Writers helping writers! ✏️💭 Miss Roberts’ class is peer conferencing during HMH Writer’s Workshop — sharing ideas, giving feedback, and growing together as authors. 📖✨

Talk about making sense of the problem! Miss Roberts’ 4th graders were lucky enough to try hummus while learning about it! We love the hands on connection to culture! Swipe for their reactions to trying something new! 🥨🫕#nhpsmath #clintonavenue
